Welcome to SB DANCE ARTS... celebrating 13 years in Santa Barbara under the direction of Steven Lovelace and Alana Tillim! There are many exciting new changes here at SB Dance Arts. As of March 1st 2009 SB Dance Arts occupies the entire space at 1 N. Calle Cesar Chavez #100 (formerly shared with Arts Alive!). We also are now the proud directors and owners of Santa Barbara Wedding Dance and can help any happy couple prepare for their big day! If you have inquiries about our classes, gallery, dance and music studio rental, parties or events, we are here to help! Santa Barbara Dance Arts is a multi arts center that includes our comprehensive school of dance with a focus on proper technique, musicality and body awareness. We offer classes for all ages in Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Tap, Ballet Technique, Pilates, Tiny Tots, Adult Classes, and that is just to start! All students are welcome, whether the aspiration is professional or enjoyment.
We believe dance is a creative force that promotes physical well-being, self-confidence and self-awareness.
